Artificial Intelligence (AI) solutions are increasingly used to optimize business processes across various industries. These solutions contribute to significant cost reduction, improved relationships with customers and suppliers, enhanced planning, and an overall elevation of business operations. The goal of the conference is to foster a better understanding of AI, encourage the practical application of AI solutions in traditional industries, connect ecosystems, and present support measures.

The entire organization of the conference, both content-wise and technically, was entrusted to the BALKAN PERSPECTIVES TODAY team.

About the conference

The conference covered both practical and theoretical knowledge about artificial intelligence (AI) to enhance business development in traditional industries.

The First Panel: "Successful AI Stories in Serbian Economy" This panel featured representatives from companies in the traditional sector who presented AI solutions that they have successfully implemented. They shared their experiences with the audience, including the benefits that resulted from introducing AI into their business operations.

The Second Panel: "Big Tech Companies and AI" This panel showcased AI products from major tech companies that can be utilized in traditional industries. It highlighted how these advanced technologies can be integrated into established sectors to improve performance and efficiency.

Central Sessions: The central part of the conference consisted of thematic sessions where domestic innovative companies presented their AI solutions that have already been applied and implemented in business operations.

Following the general presentations, companies had the opportunity to engage in individual B2B meetings with representatives from tech companies, facilitating direct discussions and potential collaborations.

Belgrade is the capital and largest city of Serbia. It is located at the confluence of the rivers Sava and Danube, where the Pannonian Plain meets the Balkan Peninsula. The urban area of Belgrade has a population of 1.23 million, while nearly 1.7 million people live within the administrative limits of the City of Belgrade. Its name means “white city.” One of the most important prehistoric cultures of Europe, the Vinča culture, evolved within the Belgrade area in the 6th millennium BC. Throughout history, Belgrade was conquered several times. Due to its perilous strategic position, the city has taken part in over 115 wars and been destroyed 44 times. It has been the capital of Serbia since 1405 and it was the capital of Yugoslavia from its creation in 1918 to its dissolution.
